The 1st year is perhaps the busiest and most important for physical development. It is during this year when babies develop muscle strength and control to help hold their body up and move against gravity. Some of my favorite baby toys...to make picking toys a little easier. For 3-6 months, we have Playmats. Tummy time is really important and good for your baby to develop strength to hold their heads up, roll over and crawl. When they double their age and hit six months, make sure to give them Balls for hand-eye coordination, Dolls for emotional development, and Pull Toys to get their muscles developing.

Toys To Help Baby Learn To Walk

After learning to stand, toddlers can start to make steps. Small steps are preliminary to walking. Push-along toys can be used as a walker. Your kids can practice walking, at the same time boost their confidence. Imagine your child learning to walk on their own.

Pull along toys can greatly encourage toddlers to walk because they provide a great balance. Push and pull toys can be used to develop the kid's creative mind and motor skills. Some of the push toys like lawn mowers or toys cars can be used by the kids to perform imitative play. At this stage they love to imitate the adults. My son loves his lawn mower because it is like daddy's!.

Why is play-doh good for children?

Play Doh is Non toxic, soft, and helps with your childs imagination. If your child is a hands on learner like my litle man is they will get more out of play doh then things like the tv.

The value of Play-doh is that it is an open-ended activity for preschoolers which allows them to explore their world. It also provides a sensory experience and fosters small motor skill development.
